FIRST APPOINTMENT + CONSULTATIONS
-
Your first appointment is designed to feel relaxed, informative and completely tailored to you. We’ll begin with a thorough consultation where we discuss your concerns, goals, medical history and overall facial balance before deciding whether treatment is appropriate for you.
I take a full-face approach to aesthetics, meaning we look at how your features, movement, skin quality and natural anatomy work together — rather than treating isolated areas in a rushed or one-size-fits-all way.
You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, discuss options and understand any recommended treatments, including risks, downtime and expected outcomes. Some clients choose to proceed with treatment on the day, while others prefer to take time to think about their options — both are completely welcome.
My goal is always for you to leave feeling informed, comfortable and genuinely cared for.
-
Yes. In many cases, treatment can be performed on the same day as your consultation if it is clinically appropriate and you feel comfortable proceeding.
Your consultation will always come first, allowing time to discuss your concerns, medical history, suitability, treatment options, expected outcomes and any potential risks or downtime before making any decisions.
Some clients prefer to begin treatment immediately, while others choose to take time to consider their options first. There is never any pressure to proceed — my priority is ensuring you feel informed, comfortable and confident in your decision.
-
You don’t need to know exactly what treatment to ask for before your appointment — that’s what the consultation is for.
Many clients come in simply wanting to look fresher, less tired or more like themselves again, without knowing which treatment options may be most suitable. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your concerns, assess your facial anatomy, movement and skin quality, and talk through personalised options based on your goals.
My approach is always conservative, honest and tailored to the individual. Sometimes the best plan involves treatment, sometimes a focus on skin quality, and sometimes no treatment at all. The goal is never to change how you look — only to help you feel refreshed, balanced and confident in a natural way.
-
Appointment times can vary depending on the type of consultation or treatment being performed. As a general guide:
Initial consultations — approximately 1 hour
Anti-wrinkle appointments — approximately 30 minutes
Dermal filler appointments — approximately 1 hour
Review appointments — approximately 15 minutes
I intentionally allow adequate time for thorough consultations, facial assessment, treatment planning and questions, so appointments never feel rushed.
Natural Results & Philosophy
-
Natural-looking results are at the core of my approach.
My treatment philosophy is centred around balance, subtlety and respecting your natural features — not changing the way you look. The goal is always to help you look fresher, more rested and confident, while still looking like yourself.
I take a conservative, full-face approach to treatment planning and will always be honest about what I believe is appropriate for your features, anatomy and long-term aesthetic goals. In many cases, less is more.
-
With over 12 years of experience in cosmetic nursing, my approach combines advanced clinical knowledge with a strong focus on natural, individualised results.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to aesthetics or chasing trends that don’t align with a person’s natural features. Every face is different, which is why I take the time to carefully assess facial balance, movement, skin quality and overall harmony before recommending any treatment plan.
My philosophy is centred around subtle, refined outcomes that help you look refreshed — never overdone. I also place a strong emphasis on honest advice, patient education and creating a comfortable environment where clients feel genuinely heard and cared for throughout the process.
Treatments are performed within Herstellen Clinic under direct medical oversight over specialist plastic surgeon, Dr. Justin Perron, with patient safety and ethical practice always remaining the priority.
-
Absolutely — in fact, that is the foundation of my approach.
Many of my clients want to look fresher, more rested or more confident without looking obviously “done.” My treatment style is conservative, refined and tailored to your natural features, with a strong focus on facial balance and maintaining natural expression.
The goal is never to make you look different — only like the best version of yourself.
Safety & Medical Oversight
-
Patient safety is always my highest priority.
All cosmetic medical treatments carry potential risks and downtime, which is why every appointment begins with a thorough consultation to assess your medical history, suitability and individual goals before any treatment is considered.
I take a conservative, medically focused approach to aesthetics and only use high-quality products and evidence-based techniques. Treatments are performed within Herstellen Clinic under direct medical oversight, with a strong emphasis on patient education, informed consent and natural-looking outcomes.
You will always be given honest advice regarding suitability, expected outcomes, potential risks and aftercare so you can make informed decisions about your treatment.
-
Treatments requiring a prescription are prescribed by Dr Justin Perron, Specialist Plastic Surgeon and Medical Director of Herstellen Clinic.
All treatments are performed within a medically regulated environment with patient safety, ethical practice and appropriate medical oversight remaining the priority at all times.
-
I am a Registered Nurse with over 16 years of nursing experience, including more than 12 years working full-time in cosmetic medicine.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with advanced cosmetic treatments including injectables, skin rejuvenation and laser technologies, while also mentoring and training other cosmetic nurses and dermal clinicians within established cosmetic medical clinics.
I regularly attend advanced education, industry workshops and ongoing professional training to ensure my knowledge, techniques and patient care remain current and evidence-based.
My approach combines medical knowledge, clinical experience and a strong focus on natural, ethical aesthetic outcomes.
-
All cosmetic medical treatments carry potential risks, side effects and downtime, which will always be discussed thoroughly during your consultation prior to proceeding with any treatment.
Common side effects can include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary asymmetry depending on the treatment performed. More serious complications, although uncommon, can include allergic reaction, vascular occlusion (blockage of a blood vessel), tissue damage and blindness. All potential risks and side effects will be explained in detail as part of the informed consent process.
Your safety is always my priority. Every treatment recommendation is made carefully and conservatively, with a strong focus on appropriate patient selection, education, aftercare and ongoing support throughout your treatment journey.
TREATMENTS
-
Results can vary from person to person, however most clients find the effects of anti-wrinkle treatments typically last around 3–4 months.
Factors such as individual metabolism, muscle strength, lifestyle and treatment history can all influence longevity. Results are gradual, with most clients beginning to notice changes within several days and full effects developing over approximately 2 weeks.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss what may be most appropriate for your individual goals, anatomy and desired outcome.
-
Results develop gradually over time and can vary slightly from person to person. Most clients begin noticing changes within several days, with full results typically taking up to 2 weeks to develop.
For this reason, it’s important to wait a minimum of 2 weeks before assessing your final result, as the treatment continues settling during this time. Any review or discussion regarding possible adjustments can only occur after the full 2-week period has passed.
-
Some dermal fillers can be dissolved, however not all filler products are reversible.
For safety reasons, I choose to work with premium-quality filler products that can be dissolved if medically required. While complications are uncommon, using products with an established safety profile and reversibility is an important part of my conservative and medically focused approach to patient care.
Suitability, risks, expected longevity and all treatment options will always be discussed thoroughly during your consultation prior to proceeding with treatment.
-
Although both treatments may utilise injectable hyaluronic acid-based products, they are designed for very different purposes.
Skin boosters are focused on improving overall skin quality, hydration and luminosity. They are placed very superficially within the skin to support hydration and improve texture, giving the skin a fresher, healthier appearance without significantly changing facial shape or volume.
Dermal filler, on the other hand, is designed to restore structure, support and volume in specific areas of the face. It can be used to softly enhance facial contours, improve balance and address volume loss associated with ageing.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss which approach may be most appropriate for your individual concerns and aesthetic goals.
-
Some cosmetic medical treatments may help relieve symptoms associated with jaw clenching, teeth grinding and tension through targeted treatment of the masseter muscles.
Many clients report improvement in jaw tension, headaches, facial discomfort and excessive clenching, while some also notice a softer or slimmer appearance through the lower face over time.
As every individual is different, suitability and expected outcomes will be discussed thoroughly during your consultation, including any potential risks, limitations and whether treatment may be appropriate for your concerns.
-
Some cosmetic medical treatments may assist in reducing excessive sweating in areas such as the underarms by temporarily targeting the signals involved in sweat production.
Many clients seek treatment for concerns relating to comfort, confidence and day-to-day quality of life. Results and longevity can vary from person to person, however effects are temporary and require ongoing maintenance over time.
Suitability, expected outcomes, potential risks and treatment considerations will always be discussed thoroughly during your consultation prior to proceeding.
PRICING & POLICIES
-
Due to Australian advertising regulations surrounding prescription-only medicines, I’m unable to publicly advertise pricing for certain cosmetic medical treatments.
Treatment costs can vary depending on the areas treated, individual anatomy, product selection and the amount of product required to achieve a safe, balanced and natural result.
Following your consultation and facial assessment, you will be provided with a personalised treatment plan and transparent pricing tailored to your individual goals and needs.
-
In Australia, strict advertising regulations set by AHPRA and the TGA limit how cosmetic medical treatments involving prescription-only medicines can be advertised publicly.
These regulations are designed to encourage thorough medical consultations and ensure treatment decisions are based on individual suitability, safety and informed consent — rather than promotional advertising or pricing alone.
-
Cosmetic medical treatments are generally considered elective procedures and are therefore not covered by Medicare.
If you have questions regarding treatment suitability, pricing or expected maintenance, these can all be discussed during your consultation.
-
To secure your appointment, a $50 booking deposit is required at the time of booking.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice. Cancellations, reschedules or non-attendance within 24 hours of your appointment time will result in the forfeiture of your $50 deposit.
This policy helps protect appointment availability and ensures adequate time can be offered to clients on the waitlist.
suitability & appointment preparation
-
Suitability for cosmetic medical treatments varies from person to person and depends on factors such as your medical history, anatomy, skin quality, treatment goals and overall expectations.
During your consultation, we’ll discuss your concerns in detail and assess whether treatment is appropriate, safe and likely to achieve a natural, balanced outcome for you. In some cases, treatment may not be recommended, or a different approach may be more suitable.
My priority is always to provide honest, ethical advice with patient safety and long-term outcomes at the centre of every recommendation.
-
As a precaution, cosmetic injectable treatments are generally not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Your safety, and the safety of your baby, will always remain the priority. If you are pregnant, trying to conceive or currently breastfeeding, this will be discussed during your consultation so we can determine the most appropriate and safest approach for you.
-
As a general precaution, it is often recommended to allow some time between receiving a vaccine and undergoing cosmetic injectable treatments.
This helps reduce the likelihood of overlapping side effects such as swelling, inflammation or feeling unwell, and allows your immune system time to settle. The most appropriate timing can vary depending on the type of vaccine and the treatment being performed.
Please let me know during your consultation if you have recently had, or are planning to receive, any vaccinations so we can advise you appropriately.
-
You will be provided with detailed pre and post-treatment instructions specific to your procedure, however general recommendations may include avoiding alcohol, excessive heat, strenuous exercise and certain blood-thinning medications or supplements around the time of treatment where medically appropriate.
Following your aftercare instructions carefully can help minimise swelling and bruising, support healing and optimise your overall result.
All recommendations, risks, downtime and aftercare advice will be discussed thoroughly during your appointment prior to proceeding with treatment.
